    A tax-deferred spending account is available for medical, dental and vision expenses.

    First Bank provides life insurance to our employees at no cost. For full time employees the benefit is one times their annual salary.
  • Supplemental Life Insurance
    First Bank provides the option to purchase additional live insurance coverage at varying levels.
  • Long-Term Disability Insurance
    First Bank provides long-term disability insurance to our employees at no cost. Benefits may be payable after the employee has been unable to work for six months.
  • Short-Term Disability Insurance
    First Bank provides the option for employees to purchase short-term disability insurance.
  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment
    First Bank offers AD and D to our employees at varying coverage plan levels.
  • Long Term Care
    First Bank provides the option for employees to purchase long term care. We offer PPO and HMO options.

Retirement Plans

401(k) Savings Plan

This plan gives eligible employees the opportunity to save through pre-tax deductions each pay period. The plan is a safe harbor, which means that the company match is automatically vested as soon as you receive it. We match $1 for $1 on the first 3% of compensation and $0.50 on the next 2% of compensation.

Work & Life Balance

  • Holidays
    Employees are paid for 10 bank holidays per year.
  • Vacation
    Employees are eligible to accrue vacation days based on continuous years of service.
  • Sick Days
    Many employees are eligible to accrue sick time. The amount of time accrued may vary by location or position type.
  • Personal Days
    Full time employees are granted one personal day per calendar year.
  • Life Assistance Program
    This program is available to all employees and their immediate family members. It provides various support services including but not limited to emotional, financial and legal counseling.

  • Accounting/Finance/Legal
    Utilize excellent multi-tasking skills, communicate with diverse groups of people, and sharpen your analytical skills. Examples of positions in this area are Compliance Analyst, Staff Auditor, and Accountant.
  • Administrative Support
    Good judgment, proven time management skills and superior software skills are ideal for this area. This area is optimal for individuals who are looking for a career path in the field of banking. There are opportunities in this type of role for many areas of the Bank.
  • Bank Operations & Support
    This division is responsible for everything that happens “behind the scenes” of the Bank. This group attracts some of the most talented individuals in the industry offering support to both our internal and external clients. Examples of departments within this area are Deposit Services and Operations, Client Contact Center and Deposit Processing.
  • Credit Administration
    This division is responsible for maintaining our Commercial and Consumer Credit Culture and providing support, reporting and other credit-related functions for the lending functions of the Bank. Departments within this division include Special Assets, Credit Review, Appraisal Review, and Centralized Collections.
  • Human Resources
    This division sources and recruits top talent, designs competitive compensation/benefit programs and services, and provides corporate career focused training.
  • Information Technology
    This division provides the technology resources needed to support the products and services we offer. There are opportunities ranging from the Technical Help Desk to Sr Software Developer to Project Manager and everything in between.


This division is the liaison between Relationship Managers and our internal and external clients during the process and documentation of commercial or consumer loans.

Whether you enjoy being behind the scenes of loan production or out in front selling, explore the fast-paced nature of the mortgage industry and the diverse career opportunities within. Examples of positions in this area include Home Loan Consultants, Processors, Underwriters and Closers.

Positions within this division allow you to foster an entrepreneurial spirit through generating and servicing your own loan portfolio. This includes Commercial Lending, Commercial Real Estate Lending, and Small Business Lending.

Opportunities within this idea area are ideal if sales or client service interests you. These positions are optimal for college students, recent high school graduates, or individuals looking for full or part-time employment. These are the “front line” of the Bank and provide high quality customer service in our branches.

This division offers products and services to help our Small Business and Commercial clients with their daily needs.
